How we reach a planning judgement

We check published information against the practical priorities you choose. Essentials are assessed first, then important needs, then preferences. One visitor’s essential cannot be offset by another person’s preferences.

Promising fit: relevant published provision supports the selected priorities. Eligibility, availability and ride requirements are still separate checks.
Could work with planning: an important detail needs checking, or the park’s broad experiences do not match your chosen interests.
Essential detail unconfirmed: something marked essential has incomplete, conditional or outdated evidence.
Poor fit for this plan: a documented constraint conflicts with an essential, such as a verified minimum preparation period your proposed visit cannot meet.

Unknown information never earns a positive match. Notes older than 90 days are treated as needing a fresh check: this is our editorial review interval, not a guarantee that younger notes are unchanged. Similar outcomes are ordered by published support for your priorities, then documented provision with details still to confirm, fewer unresolved needs, broad interests, then name. Conditional provision never counts as an essential being met. No popularity, payment or visitor data affects the order.

The pace explorer is a proposed sequence of activities, not a prediction of fatigue, crowding, travel time or queue length. This is a planning aid, not medical advice.

The evidence behind your choices

All the notes used by the planner are available through this directory, even without JavaScript. The planner loads the relevant regional notes when you request an assessment. “Published provision” describes what the park documents; “details to confirm” and “not established” show the limits. No note promises access for an individual visitor.

Questions to take to any park

Use these prompts alongside the linked park notes. They are questions, not claims that a facility exists.

Can I use the queue arrangement, what must I book, and how much physical waiting remains?
Which step-free routes reach my chosen rides, and what transfer or evacuation assistance must my party provide?
Where can we take a quieter break, and what happens if that space is busy or closed?
Can you confirm adult bench dimensions, hoist type and capacity, sling requirements and opening arrangements?
Which parking or drop-off point should we use, and what is the step-free route to the entrance?
