30 September 2026 — evidence rules for visitors from other countries

After re-checking official pages: the Alton Towers profile now leads with the Ride Access Pass page’s 7-day application guidance and records the longer FAQ wording as a conflict. PortAventura now lists the UK documents the park names (PIP, DLA, Blue Badge). Europa-Park now lists the disability cards it accepts, including the UK Access Card and EU Disability Card, and the Green Card route for visitors without one. Disneyland Paris notes that the Easy Access certificate must not name the condition. Futuroscope notes that no UK document is listed. Gardaland now appears on the homepage, and a dead Puy du Fou link was removed.

Feedback no longer asks for an email address. Useful questions are now answered anonymously on the new questions and answers page. See the updated privacy notice.

30 September 2026 — PortAventura without a car

The new PortAventura journey guide compares the Salou–Port Aventura rail stop, Camp de Tarragona and airport approaches. It explains Adif’s assistance list and Plana’s advance adapted-coach request, then connects arrival to an exact hotel room and return. These are operator-published options, not an inspected step-free route or a confirmed vehicle or room.

29 September 2026 — a bookable Billund road option

The Billund journey guide now compares scheduled-bus uncertainty with Sydtrafik’s Flextur, a shared, bookable kerb-to-kerb option. It explains the operator’s occupied-wheelchair lift-only assistance condition, booking window, timing range and questions for a specific outward and return trip. No vehicle, pickup point or continuous step-free journey has been confirmed for an individual visitor.

29 September 2026 — Billund airport and rail decisions

The new LEGOLAND Billund car-free journey guide separates published stops and routes from the vehicle, ramp, wheelchair-space and return details that still need confirmation. It uses the transport operator’s 2026 route 43 timetable and nationwide travel rules alongside the park’s directions, with a specific planning question to take to the operator. No individual bus or continuous step-free journey was inspected.

29 September 2026 — car-free arrival decisions

The journey guide now compares three rail-to-gate decisions at Efteling, Europa-Park and LEGOLAND Billund and offers a printable five-question return plan. It separates operator-published routes from unverified vehicle boarding and stop-to-entrance details. No complete accessible journey or particular bus has been audited.

29 September 2026 — plan care and quieter breaks

The new care and rest planner compares what Efteling, Liseberg, LEGOLAND Billund and Alton Towers publish about adult-changing equipment, care rooms, quieter spaces and key or code access. It labels missing specifications instead of treating an accessible toilet as evidence of a hoist or adult bench. Filters and printing work without sending or saving a visitor’s selections. Equipment and routes have not been inspected; confirm the exact room, safe working loads, sling compatibility and opening arrangements before travel.

28 September 2026 — compare the exact rooms

The overnight guide now has a two-room worksheet for checking the room, bed and transfers, bathroom, equipment, journey and written confirmation. It works as a paper checklist without scripting, adds live unanswered-question counts when scripting is available, and can be printed. Answers are not sent to or saved by the website. Efteling’s official accommodation page was rechecked for contrasting room and shower descriptions; no room or route has been inspected.

28 September 2026 — Phantasialand and Brühl

Added a Phantasialand guide that separates advance admission, individual German-language ride assessment and the operator’s stated absence of disability priority access. It describes the one-wheelchair-space seasonal shuttle, limited partly unsealed parking routes, toilet and dining exclusions, a hotel enquiry, and two separate Brühl outings. Historic ride-specific conditions are labelled for reconfirmation. The colour drawing is imaginative, not a route map. Rooms, rides and complete journeys have not been inspected.

27 September 2026 — Parque Warner Madrid and more ways to use a trip

The Parque Warner Madrid guide now distinguishes the free admission companion, special ride card and eligible Platinum alternative, and sets selected ride and parade questions beside the Pinto/413 and Villaverde Bajo/412 arrivals. A Getafe hotel lead names published shower-seat and parking details but explicitly has no local shuttle. Two separate art outings—the Reina Sofía and CA2M—have specific access evidence and route limits. The original colour cinema-street image is imaginative, not a park or access map. The overnight guide has seven leads, and other days out has 32 ideas. Bus vehicles, ride transfers, exact rooms and full journeys have not been audited.

27 September 2026 — Zoomarine and an Albufeira break

The Zoomarine Algarve guide now separates a reduced-mobility aquarium and a presentation with some reserved seating from the unverified transfer and changing arrangements for pools. It explains the physical ticket-office Special rate, published bus stop and rail-transfer options, a hotel with one listed adapted room, and two Albufeira-area alternatives. Confirm foreign evidence, pool equipment, actual transport and the exact room before relying on them. The new colour scene is imaginative, not an access map. The overnight guide has six researched leads and the other-days guide has 30 ideas, each with important gaps.

27 September 2026 — Bellewaerde and Ypres planning

The Bellewaerde guide now compares animal viewing with selected ride and transfer questions, explains the operator’s limit on staff lifting, and connects the park to bus/parking choices and two separate Flanders museum outings. A specific Ypres hotel lead prominently states that its rooms lack adapted bathrooms and wheelchair users cannot roll into its showers. The dated research is not a visit, a verified bus departure or a suitable-room guarantee. The new colour landscape is imaginative, not a map.

27 September 2026 — Movie Park Germany and Ruhr planning

The Movie Park Germany profile now connects its Special Pass to selected attraction and sensory questions, a dated 4–30 September Feldhausen rail closure notice, parking and services, a published hotel access lead and two separate Ruhr-area outings. The closure should be checked again for any later travel date. No replacement-bus boarding, room, ride transfer or complete route was audited. A new colour illustration is imaginative, not an access map.

27 September 2026 — Puy du Fou show and Vendée planning

The Puy du Fou profile now connects the show programme, separate evening-ticket choices, Colporteuse and Cinéscénie shuttles, hotel and transfer questions, and two regional heritage outings. The operator’s 2026 brochure and venue-published access records are linked in the guide, with older or incomplete details identified. A new colour illustration is imaginative, not a park map. No individual show seat, hotel room or accessible vehicle was inspected or booked.

27 September 2026 — Liseberg and Gothenburg

The Liseberg profile is now an expanded destination guide with selected ride boarding questions, steep-route warnings, the South Entrance adult-changing facility, an operator-described Grand Curiosa room option and two separate city outings. The 2026 Accessible Queue Return Time applies only to listed rides; a platform lift does not establish ride suitability. A new colour illustration is an imaginative skyline study, not an access map. Sources and review scope are linked on the profile; journeys, rooms and equipment have not been inspected.

27 September 2026 — overnight planning

A new where to stay guide brings together four first-party accommodation leads around Efteling, Futuroscope, PortAventura and Helsinki. It shows room features alongside questions a category label cannot answer, including transfer space, equipment availability and the route to the park. We rechecked the linked operator pages; these are not inspected rooms, live availability, prices or endorsements. Efteling’s current overnight overview lists more adapted options than the three examples in its destination guide.

27 September 2026 — Efteling overnight choices

The Efteling destination guide now compares three operator-described adapted accommodation layouts and the last stretch to the park. It distinguishes the Loonsche Land walking-route detour and shuttle arrangements, and lists room measurements and equipment to confirm directly before booking. The same operator review clarified the park’s Changing Places sling requirement and the separate care-room locations. These are research leads, not inspected rooms or a price ranking; the earlier access-scheme review date has not been advanced.

27 September 2026 — clearer destination discovery

Added destination-inspired colour illustrations to ten expanded guides in the park finder, including its readable no-script version. They are imaginative studies, not maps or depictions of accessible routes. Expanded guide page titles and descriptions now name the practical planning topics they cover. These changes do not establish a change in search ranking or visitor traffic.

27 September 2026 — compare access paths

The new access path explorer compares selected Efteling, Walibi Holland and PortAventura World arrangements from advance preparation to ride boarding, with operator links and a dated scope note. Readers can change the two parks and planning question without sending those selections to the Site. The visual stages do not rank parks, predict queue times or establish individual ride suitability. Check the current operator guidance and the full park profile before booking.

27 September 2026 — Helsinki destination and illustrated outing choices

Expanded Linnanmäki from a focused access overview into a trip guide. It compares Propelli, Panoraama and Vuoristorata with their distinct boarding questions; adds north and south arrival approaches, a hotel with published adapted-room measurements, food questions, a flexible day and separate SEA LIFE Helsinki and Heureka alternatives. The park access scheme retains its earlier review date; the new destination sections have their own date. The regional ideas page now has 20 sourced ideas and colour illustrations to help navigate them. A new imaginative Walibi landscape appears on its profile and the homepage now shows nine illustrated destination cards. Illustrations are not maps or evidence of accessibility. Journeys, specific hotel rooms and adult-changing equipment have not been independently audited.

27 September 2026 — Walibi destination planning and printable checklist

Expanded Walibi Holland with three selected attraction decisions, route and lodging questions, a flexible day and two Flevoland museum alternatives. The guide flags three steps at the Ferris wheel, missing accessible-cottage specifications, and aircraft or ship exhibits that wheelchair users cannot enter. The regional outings guide now has 18 ideas. We also made the pre-visit checklist printable and added journey, transfer, facilities and food checks. The guide is desk research; neither a cottage nor a door-to-door journey has been audited.

27 September 2026 — Walibi Holland planning correction

Walibi Holland now cites the current operator guidance rather than an older declaration. It explains the mandatory virtual queue, documentation questions, red and purple companion limits, and ride-specific checks. We also added the operator’s Harderwijk bus lead, pickup location, limited wheelchair hire, listed adapted toilets and picnic/allergen resources. The bus route is not an audited accessible journey, and an adapted toilet listing does not establish adult changing equipment. These are focused checks, not a full ride-by-ride destination guide.

26 September 2026 — a fuller Futuroscope trip guide

Expanded Futuroscope with three selected, individually sourced ride-access examples, a lodging option with equipment questions, food and picnic planning, rail arrival choices, a flexible day outline and two separate Poitiers-region outings. The nearby guide now includes those outings. This is desk research, not a complete ride inventory or an audited step-free route. The earlier access-scheme review date has not been advanced; the expanded destination sections show their own date.

25 September 2026 — colour across more pages

Recoloured the existing Disneyland Paris, Europa-Park and Efteling drawings, and added illustrated studies to the Gardaland, LEGOLAND Billund and Linnanmäki profiles and the travel planning page. These are generated interpretations, not evidence about park layouts, accessible routes or transport. No access policies were re-reviewed in this visual update.

25 September 2026 — arrival and equipment planning

Added Alton Towers arrival guidance covering its published Blue Badge parking arrangements and estimated walk from the main parking zones. These are general estimates, not measured accessible-route times; monorail wheelchair boarding was not established by the cited pages.

Added Futuroscope equipment guidance: on-site wheelchair and scooter hire is limited, and the park says its hired scooters cannot enter attractions. Visitors need to plan a transfer to a wheelchair or travel on foot, subject to each attraction’s rules. This is a focused equipment review, not a full access-scheme update.

24 September 2026 — three more destination guides

Expanded PortAventura World, LEGOLAND Billund and Gardaland with researched highlights, arrival choices, lodging and food questions, practical day plans and six more nearby outings. These additions were checked against current official pages; access-scheme review dates have not been advanced.

PortAventura food correction: an external draft described a separate food-entry form as required for allergy-related food brought into the park. The resort’s current official allergy guide instead says to show a medical certificate and personal ID at entry; its hotel meal-request form is a separate process. We have published the current guide wording, with a link, and advise checking it again before travel.

Gardaland shuttle discrepancy: official pages disagree on whether the last Peschiera station shuttle leaves 15 or 30 minutes after park closing. Our guide does not choose one; confirm the current timetable and plan an earlier departure.

Alton Towers RAP: added the current Red/Yellow companion distinction and flagged the resort’s announced end-of-2026 system change as a future plan, not a rule already in force.

The wider supplied research file is still being checked. Its roughly 1,290 ride rows and other unverified claims have not been bulk-published.

18 September 2026 — Gardaland and Billund practical checks

Gardaland: flagged differing priority-pass eligibility descriptions on the official rates page and regulations, separated companion tickets from ride access, and added equipment and arrival details. We have not resolved the policy difference on the park’s behalf.

LEGOLAND Billund: corrected our unqualified five-person wristband limit: language versions and the separate physical-access scheme use different wording. Added companion-ticket conditions, changing-toilet information and seasonal-shuttle cautions. These are focused practical additions, not yet full destination guides.

18 September 2026 — from access summaries to destination guides

Expanded the Disneyland Paris, Europa-Park, Efteling and Alton Towers guides with highlights, access caveats, practical trade-offs, transport options, tips and flexible day outlines. Added eight nearby and regional outings, each with published access details and limitations.

Destination additions have their own research date. Earlier access-scheme reviews have not been relabelled as newly rechecked. Other park profiles remain shorter overviews. Recommendations are editorial interpretations, not reports of visits by our team; a published transport route is not a verified accessible door-to-door journey.

18 September 2026 — first Finland overview

Added Linnanmäki in Helsinki after reading its official English and Finnish accessibility information, arrival advice and ride-safety guidance. The overview separates companion admission from ride entrances, identifies selected boarding barriers and gives arrival options with last-leg cautions. It is not yet a complete destination guide. Coverage now includes 16 parks across 11 countries.

17 September 2026 — practical review and feedback launch

Next research priorities

  1. Check the remaining overview profiles in detail, starting with evidence acceptance and companion rules.
  2. Expand park-specific toilet, transfer and sensory information where official sources support it.
  3. Use visitor feedback to find unclear pages and missing practical details.
  4. Invite usability feedback from disabled visitors before claiming the website has been accessibility-tested.
