Compare how park access works

Explore the preparation, waiting and boarding questions for three different European theme parks, side by side.

Choose two parks. Follow what to prepare, how to wait and what to check at the ride. These paths are not suitability scores or queue-time predictions.

Efteling

  1. Before the visit

    Arrange a personal Facilities Card through Pennenveer and the app, or request one at the Visitor Service Centre on the day. Admission and a visit reservation are separate.

  2. At the park

    Use the card and the current attraction symbols or map to check the particular ride. A wheelchair entrance removes physical queue obstacles at nearly all attractions.

  3. While waiting

    The wheelchair entrance does not offer priority or a shorter wait. It can have its own queue when busy.

  4. At the ride

    Staff assess the ride-specific boarding and evacuation conditions. If a visitor cannot ride independently, a companion aged at least 16 is required. General wheelchair-entrance group limit: three accompanying people, with named ride exceptions.

Walibi Holland

  1. Before the visit

    Prepare the signed accessibility request. For a non-visible disability, check the park’s specific supporting-document wording; it says medical records and reports are not accepted. An app account can be set up ahead.

  2. At the park

    Guest Service checks the request, provides the dated flyer and wristband, and activates accessibility mode in the virtual-queue account.

  3. While waiting

    The virtual queue is mandatory for this scheme. Its wait equals the current regular-queue wait; it is a way to wait outside that queue, not priority.

  4. At the ride

    Follow the flyer’s entrance and mobility guidance. A companion must be at least 16 and 1.40 m tall. The red wristband allows one companion; the purple allows up to three. Individual rides can have steps or other barriers.
